I stayed at Reese’s place for about 5 months and truly enjoyed my stay. The place feels very clean with updated appliances and amenities. Spacious for a one bedroom with plenty of natural lighting which was beautiful on a sunny San Diego day. Reese was very responsive and helpful when needed which wasn’t very often because the place was very well kept. The apartment is walking distance from anything you can need: grocery stores, convenient stores, and plenty of restaurants! The only thing for travel nurses, such as myself, although it is a corner unit, it is across the street from the hospital so lots of outside noise, which is expected for the busy area but can sometimes be tough for a night shift nurse. Reese was nice enough to put a white noise machine in the bedroom which was very thoughtful. Overall, really enjoyed my stay and sad to leave! Might possibly be back in the future!

Exceptional stay—I can’t say enough good things about it. Reese & Shawn’s place was equipped with all the essentials and well-decorated, just like the pictures. Clean, super comfortable bed, and multiple methods of climate control. Great location for extended stays—I would happily stay here for another month. 

Reese & Shawn went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay. They gave a brief yet thorough orientation upon check-in, and provided multiple ways to get in touch if I needed anything (I never did, because everything was thought of or taken care of by them ahead of time). I would HIGHLY recommend any stay hosted by Reese & Shawn!

I stayed at Reese & Shawn’s apartment for 3-4 months and it was very comfortable and clean. Good fit for one person, walkability was great. There was a lot of restaurants, gyms, grocery stores events and farmers markets I could easily walk to. I had a great time in Hillcrest. And would definitely stay at this listing again.

The garage was private and safe, Hillcrest does have homeless people but that is just the area, so knowing my car was safe in a garage you needed a FOB to, helped me sleep at night. There are hospitals nearby so you’ll hear sirens but it’s not annoying, just gives you the downtown feel.

Places I recommend nearby are Sushi Deli, Divo Diva (wine), North Park for shopping and the farmers market, Rail for drinking, Crest and Einsteins for breakfast, Cluck n Sip.Our apartments are located in the heart of the city, just steps away from the best restaurants, shops, and entertainment. Enjoy all that the city has to offer right at your doorstep!
